BIOGRAPHY
Kyson Point is UK contemporary folk duo Kelly and David Booth. Galvanised by glowing reviews for their collaborative 2023 solo albums ‘Wave Machine’ and ‘All My Days’ and following their marriage in late 2023, Kelly and David became Kyson Point - the name taken from a beautiful location on the River Deben in Suffolk where they live.
The couple create and perform stirring vignettes inspired by the natural world and human stories. Kelly’s songbird vocals and lyrical piano blend with David’s shimmering guitar and compelling voice, often evoking Laurel Canyon and Crosby Stills Nash harmonies, alongside compositions more firmly rooted in UK soil.
From Folk East to Maverick festivals in the UK, across to Sweden’s Live At Heart and Folk At Heart, along with intimate sold out shows in their home county, Kyson Point have fine-tuned their live set to strike the perfect balance between thoughtful ballads and uplifting foot-stomping choruses.
